About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly scaling fintech at the intersection of industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and financial services. We're looking for a dynamic individual who is ready for the challenge of scaling our sales operations and potentially leading our sales department. If you have a track record of sales excellence in the industrial sector and are ready to make a significant impact, we'd love to hear from you. The role reports directly to the co-CEO.
Your Accountabilities
Lead Acquisition & Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities to lease industrial machinery across industry sectors and sub-sectors. Develop and implement Go-to market strategies to penetrate these industries.
Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations. Ensure client satisfaction and loyalty through excellent service and value delivery.
Sales Funnel Management: Analyse and optimize the sales funnel to improve conversion rates. Implement effective tracking and management strategies to maximize sales performance.
Deal Closure: Lead negotiations, structure legal documentation and close deals, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies and objectives. Drive the end-to-end sales cycle with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
Team Leadership Potential: Exhibit the potential to lead and motivate a sales team. Contribute to the training and development of sales personnel to build a high-performing sales force.
Your Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
Industry Expertise: Understand the industrial machinery and / or leasing financing sector, with a technical understanding of equipment and the underlying engineering a strong plus. Experience working with clients in machine sales and aftersales services, repairs and maintenance are helpful.
Corporate Finance: Consultancy background, or deal-oriented roles in finance are equally welcome given transactions can involve financial modelling. The ability to read corporate financial statements is key to originating quality leads.
Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
Relationship Building: Skilled in building and maintaining professional relationships. Able to interact positively with a wide range of stakeholders is key, as transaction involve multiple business units on the client-side.
Adaptability & Innovation: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs. Creative in finding solutions and opportunities for business growth.
Leadership & Strategy: Demonstrated potential to lead by example, with a motivational style that encourages team collaboration and performance. Ability to develop strategic sales plans that align with company goals.
Your Incentives
A minimum annual salary of EUR 70.000 gross for employment in Austria. Actual salary depends on qualifications and experience. In addition, remuneration includes an attractive commission on deals closed and, optionally, employee share options for senior personnel.
